Dawn Goeres graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in performing arts and a second bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and corrections, an education which prepared her well for a career as an accomplished trial attorney.  The skills and experience Dawn acquired as Military Policeman with the United States Army Reserve; a correctional officer in Jackson County, Illinois; and an Assistant Vice President of Claims and Liability Management for a large professional liability insurer have provided an excellent foundation for her continued success as a litigator.  In addition to analyzing complex insurance coverage and other legal compliance issues, Dawn assists her clients with the drafting, revision and implementation of risk management policies, employee handbooks, employment policies and plan documents for self-insurers.  Dawn also lectures on employment and insurance-related issues.
